Founded in 1953, the Dick Sims Agency, Inc. specializes in meeting the risk management needs of producers of various agricultural commodities. The agency represents several of the leading crop insurance companies including Farmer's Mutual Hail, Great American Insurance, ARMtech andRain and Hail among others. The agency is has an office at 4301 Grand Prix Drive in Logansport, Indiana and serves Farmers across the state but primarily in northern and central Indiana.

Products offered include Crop-Hail insurance, standard MPCI (Multi-Peril Crop Insurance), CRC (Crop Revenue Coverage), RA (Revenue Assurance), IP (Income Protection), CAT (Catastrophic) insurance, GRP (Group Risk Plan) insurance and GRIP (Group Risk Income Protection) .

Dick Sims, Founder/ Dick started the Agency in 1953 selling hail insurance only and is still consults with the Agency.

Steve Sims, President/Agent. Beginning in 1980 working part time, Steve started full-time as a fully-licensed agent in 1983. Steve is currently President of Cass County Churchmen United.

Ann Sims, Ann previously served as office manager and now consults on aspects of corporate and tax accounting for the Agency.

Darryl Lane, Agent. Starting in 1996, Darryl joined the Agency as a fully-licensed agent. While new to the insurance business, Darryl grew up on a farm and has been interested in agriculture his entire life.

Sue Lane, Office Manager. Sue began her duties with the Agency in 1992 and handles a variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation of the office, including accounting and correspondence.
